Mainstream coverage outpacing gay media?

National LGBT media are losing out to the mainstream on coverage of LGBT issues, panelists said Saturday.
In “What Is ‘LGBT News,’ Anyhow?” panelists said it often was easier to pitch an LGBT story to mainstream media, which have greater resources, than to the national gay press.

Barbie is a lesbian. When I was growing up, I loved to play with Barbie dolls. I had nearly 40 of them, with variable lengths of shiny blonde hair, and a few dark-haired Midges and Teresas added for good measure.Mysteriously missing from this menagerie of playthings was Ken, Barbie’s “male friend.” More
