In Washington D.C. the Newseum is a 250,000 square foot museum of news. It offers visitors an experience that blends five centuries of news history and hands-on exhibits. NLGJA's Jacqueline Payton reports on her trip to the museum.

When Michael Phelps won his record 8th gold medal, the iconic image was on the front page of hundreds of newspapers. And if you went to Washington D.C.'s Newseum you could see almost all of those newspapers in one of their exhibits, which displays front pages from newspapers around the world. It's just one of the many exhibits that impressed reporter David Chong, on his trip to the museum that celebrates news.
